I am fortunate to have called Onslow County home since I was seven years old. The Navy brought my family to Camp Lejeune where my dad retired after serving for over 20 years. I loved being here so much that, after graduating from ECU in 1997, I came home to teach.
My career began at Hunters Creek Elementary where I taught 2nd – 4th grades and served as a Literacy Facilitator. While I taught there, my husband and I were blessed with two children, I earned National Boards Certification and my Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I then moved a bit closer to home and spent the last seven years teaching at Parkwood Elementary.
We are a close family that enjoys each other's company. Our son is currently a fourth grade Patriot and our daughter is a sophomore at Jacksonville High. We love to be outside and spend much of our time on the soccer fields.
I am honored to be a Stateside Patriot!!
